    Rob

I ordered a (pre-used) Defender back in March to be built to a very specific specification.

Eventually delivered last night with 50& of the ordered extracts missing & a very poor build.

Refused to take delivery as it was not what was ordered but garage are saying they will not refund me until they sell. Out of interest, does anyone know where I stand on this?

Hi Rob. If the vehicle does not match the specifications in the contract, you can reject the vehicle and you would be entitled to a refund on your deposit.

The issue of “very poor build” is another matter, and is very difficult to argue. What you consider “very poor” might be perfectly acceptable to another person, so you would have to show that the quality is so poor it prohibits the vehicle being used for its intended purpose.
