    I purchased a brand new Vauxhall Meriva on 31st March. Delivery was 2nd April. After parking it in garage I noticed a wet spot under the engine. Contacted dealer who suggested it was the wax they use to protect new cars. It continued. After 2 wks the garage had it back and said they could find nothing wrong. I put a plate under the car and collect the liquid, when I booked it back into the garage 12th May they found it was leaking power steering fluid and said the car was underivable . They have now repaired the fault but I am not happy I would like to reject the vehicle and have it replaced with like for like. What are my rights?

    Hi Christine. You are outside the first 30 days of ownership but inside six months. Therefore the dealer is entitled to one attempt to fix the problem. If the fix fails and the same problem returns, you will be entitled to reject the car.
