I took out car finance with Motonovo finance on a 2nd hand car nearly 3 years ago, I’m looking to take voluntary termination on the agreement but they’re saying I’m liable for two cigarette burns on the driver’s seat.
These were there when I bought the car so I feel its unfair that I would be liable for them, I’ve spoken to the dealership (a big national dealership) at Motonovo’s request to see if they have a checklist or such proving the burns were there when I bought it but they don’t.
Does anyone know where I stand with this?
