I’d like some advice on buying a used car. I’m living in the UK at the moment, and having a baby in early October. I’m looking to buy a 5-door economical car that will be used for zipping about (no massively long journeys). I am then planning on selling it on at the end of January 2020.
At the moment, as I’ve lived outside the country for more than two years, my insurance premium is high, so I don’t want to waste any more money on a car that is going to depreciate massively in 8 months.
I don’t intend on buying a new car, but my budget is reasonably high if I can get something new-ish that will depreciate less than an old banger!
Any advice much appreciated!
If you are concerned on the budget of the used vehicle you wish to buy, then try performing a car history check online. In this report, you can find the car valuation column in which you find the approximate value of the car. Also, you know the complete history of the car so that you can avoid cars which will be get depreciated soon.
