Bought a used Range Rover Evoque 3 years ago on PCP. It is 6 years old and has done just under 50,000 miles. Within 7 months I needed to replace the turbo pipe, the following year I needed a new battery and now currently it is in the Land Rover garage with a major mechanical fault, the transfer box bearings/rear diff problem, which has made the car not road worthy and they’re wanting to charge me £2,500 to fix it.
After research it would appear this is a known fault on these cars.
I’m just wondering where I stand? I can’t afford the repairs and thought I was buying a reliable car, clearly not. Has anybody ever come across this and could offer me some advice please?
