I have bought a Toyota Auris 2016 plate from a dealer. Paid in full £14,000 I was supposed to have delivery 31st October 2018 which come and went and was then told I could not have it until 2nd November.
I informed them it was not good enough and I wanted my money back in full. They have refused saying the car is sitting there waiting for me. Can I have my money back?
Hi Marion. No, there is no provision for you to have your money back based on your description.
Your contract will very likely state that the dealer has 28 days from the agreed date to deliver the car, to allow for and delays beyond the dealer’s control. If they can’t deliver it within 28 days, you can have your money back.
