Currently driving a VW Polo N6 from ’99 but it’s a bit too small on the inside.
•4 or 5 doors
•More boot space than the VW Polo
•Decent reliability & fuel economy
•Max budget £4000
Currently considering a Dacia Sandero first generation since that seems to be one of the few cars that comes close. Haven’t driven it yet though and no clue how reliable they really are but it seems slightly larger than the Polo yet weighs about the same.
I’m not concerned about looks, don’t care for power steering, automatic windows or central locking systems, those just add weight anyway but aircon apparently is a must according to my wife.
Looking forward to suggestions!
