    Hi Guys,

I am thinking of buying an E46 BMW M3 as a second car, I would expect to do about 5,000 miles a year. I have always fancied one, but despite the terrible running costs, I think this car could be seen as a potential investment – or at least at the point where it will not depreciate any further. For the purposes of future value, do you think that the couple or the convertible would be a better buy?

I appreciate your advice, thanks in advance
    Illya

Hi Illya. Longer term, I think the coupé will probably be a better investment than the convertible. However, there are still plenty of them available, so values are not likely to start increasing for quite some time yet.
