I’m looking at buying a MINI One 2002 as a budget car.
The mileage is only 86,000 – good for its age. The last MOT has advisory notices on:
‘Suspension arm rubber mounting deteriorating but not resulting in excessive front inner’
‘Suspension arm has slight play in ball joint front (inner both sides)’
Can someone give me an idea of how serious these are and how much they may cost to fix?
Hi Georgina. Advisory notices like that are not unusual, and it may be a long time before they need attention. I’d suggest contacting a couple of MINI specialists, as they should easily be able to quote for these items.
