I was thinking that to drive the community we could all list a couple of areas that we are knowledgeable in so we have a kind of directory of skills which we share to help each other out.
I manage a group of 320 people across 37 sites so have a lot of management and HR/employment law experience.
I also do a lot of photography. (Full Nikon pro kit)
if anyone wanted advice on either I’d be happy to share it.
if everyone added their areas of interest we could share knowledge and skills to help each other.
i.e. if you’ve been suspended from work and need advice you can ask me, if I’m trying to wire a plug socket into my conservatory I can ask someone who lists that as a skill.
Maybe stu could start a community section

Very nice pic. I like my photography but I’m strictly amateur and my camera makes me far better than I actually am.
Me? I’m not too bad at criminal law, for a Tesco delivery driver. Just be careful if you ask for me help though; if I trip over a kerb whilst typing my knowledge, I’ll sue you.

Stig, that lovely picture has more value than you probably realise, now, since they added the ghastly lighting to the suspension arms and pedestrian walkway – it looks like it should probably be in Vegas now.
I’ll fit you out a shop, or an office. I can get you a basment dug, a house renovated or refurbished, or, indeed, built, but if you are doing it for your own home I wouldn’t be interested, though I do know some that might be. I’m fairly handy with the planning, building control, and party wall process,so ask away. Simple contract too, but TBH will be your man, I suspect, for real knowledge of actual construction contracts when your house build, that I had nothing to do with, goes tits up.
N Gauge model railways and righting capsized Laser 2000 dinghies I’m quite good on, too.

Stig, thats a stunning photo.
Workwise, I’m a bit of a jack of all trades (and master of none) – Accounting, employment law, marketing, manufacturing (in sheet metal and machined parts), product design, commercial vehicles, vehicle graphics and wraps, vehicle security, tracking systems, PTO systems, winches, BUS programming and fleet management.
I’ve got various licences, ratings, qualifications and certificates for planes, helicopters and boats.
If anyone does win Rich’s £1.7m, let me know – my true specialism is p155ing it up the wall. (DBS / XKR cab are points of fact)

I think I’m ok sold a picture of Tower Bridge in London for £2000 which has been used numerous times on various material.
I also do a lot of air shows.
Nice. I’ll keep you in mind. You never know. Roughly, where are you based?
Advertising, web design, CGI, copywriting, art direction, portrait painting. None of which will be news to any of you.

Based in west mids, more interested in coaching members on photography/getting best out of equipment rather than doing actual jobs though I never say never.
