I have a manual petrol Toyota Verso.
In cold weather (like less than 10C), when I press the start button – it tries a for quite a few seconds till it starts – sounding like it won’t make it.
Once running, it is fine.
No bad noises during start – just really unsmooth and long.
Is this battery, oil, spark or fuel issue?
Hi Terry. Could be battery, alternator or starter motor, given that the problem appears to be difficulty in starting the engine rather than running once it’s fired up.
