    Hi there,

My BMW has recently come out of warranty and two weeks after it ended I had an issue with my connected drive. This has now been sorted by BMW free of charge by way of a goodwill gesture, as it was only 2 weeks out of warranty. Approx £1800 worth of repairs.

I’m just wondering if this will have an impact if I voluntary terminate my agreement? Can BMW suddenly request the money for the repairs?

Hi Andy. No, it would have no bearing on a voluntary termination whatsoever.

The warranty and goodwill repairs are provided by BMW (the car company), while the finance is (presumably) with BMW Financial Services, which is a completely separate company (albeit owned by BMW).
