Vauxhall is releasing prices for its revised Mokka and Zafira Tourer models, both of which will arrive in showrooms in October.
The latest Mokka, which starts from £17,590, has gained an X to its name, and is the first of a new range of SUVs and crossovers all using the X branding.
Most dramatic of the additions are a pair of new engines, a 1.4i 150bhp turbo automatic petrol, and the 1.6CDTi 109bhp ecoFlex diesel.
Costing from £19,515, the diesel is matched to a six-speed manual gearbox and is available throughout the four trim levels. Combined cycle fuel economy is quoted at 72.4mpg and CO2 emissions at 103g/km.
The 1.4 petrol unit costs from £21,150 in entry-level Design Nav form and is expected to appeal for its potency – the 0-60mph is 9.4 seconds with a top speed of 120mph. A six-speed automatic transmission, adaptive all-wheel drive and start/stop all come with the engine.
Standard equipment on Design Nav includes 18-inch alloy wheels on all but the ecoFlex models, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights and silver roof rails on the outside.
Inside there is an eight-inch touch screen with Vauxhall’s IntelliLink Infotainment system, and the OnStar personal connectivity and service assistant electronic aids.
The latest Zafira Tourer features styling and interior changes and additional technology.
Two engine choices are available, the 1.4i 138bhp Turbo petrol or the 2.0CDTi 167bhp diesel in either manual or automatic transmission. The diesel offers combined cycle fuel economy of 54 to 57mpg and CO2 emissions of 129g/km
Prices start from £18,615 for the 1.4i 140PS Turbo Zafira Tourer in Design trim, for which standard equipment includes IntelliLink with a seven-inch display and the potential to connect with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
OnStar connectivity is standard across the range while also on the entry-level specification are DAB radio and cruise control, LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels and front and rear parking sensors.
