Editorial Director: Stuart Masson
Stuart founded The Car Expert in 2011. Originally from Australia, Stuart has had a passion for cars and the car industry for over thirty years. He spent a decade in automotive retail, and now works tirelessly to help car buyers by providing independent and impartial consumer advice.
You'll often hear him popping up across the BBC and other media outlets with expert opinion on car buying and the latest car industry topics.
In 2020, Stuart joined the Finance & Leasing Association's Stakeholder Advisory Panel to provide the finance industry with consumer perspective on car finance issues.

Managing Director: John Blauth
John is Vice-President of the Guild of Motoring Writers, with over 40 years’ experience in automotive media.
He has previously been Motoring Editor for the Daily Express, Editor for Company Car and Business Editor for Motor Transport, among many other roles.

Road test editor: Andrew Charman
Andrew is a member of the Guild of Motoring Writers, and has had senior writing and editing roles at many magazines, including Car & Van News, Fast Car, Top Car, Super Touring (which he founded), Touring Car Worldwide, Classics, Retro and Carbuyer.
