About Infiniti
Infiniti is Nissan’s premium brand, but it no longer sells new cars in the UK. It was intended to compete with brands like Audi, BMW, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz, offering a mix of hatchbacks, saloons, coupés and SUVs with a more unusual badge than the usual premium choices.
In practice, Infiniti struggled to make much of an impression here. The brand stopped selling new cars in the UK in 2019, although used examples are still available. Models such as the Q30, Q50, Q60 and QX30 can still make sense for some buyers, especially if you want something different from the more obvious German alternatives. But it’s worth going in with your eyes open.
The main issue is not whether Infiniti made some interesting cars, because it did. The bigger questions for used-car buyers are around servicing, parts availability, resale values and long-term support now that the brand has left the UK new-car market. Those points matter more with a discontinued brand than they would with a manufacturer still selling new cars and supporting a full dealer network.
This page brings together all of our Infiniti coverage in one place, including Expert Ratings, reviews, news and feature articles. It is mainly here as a useful archive for used-car buyers, so you can see how Infiniti models were rated, what we thought of them when new and what to consider before buying one today.
