Skoda has announced a new ‘SportLine‘ version of its upcoming Epiq electric SUV, introducing sportier styling and additional equipment ahead of the model’s arrival in UK showrooms next year.

The new ‘SportLine’ will sit at the top of the Epiq range, above the existing ‘Edition 55’ trim. It follows the same approach as ‘SportLine’ versions of the larger Elroq and Enyaq, with distinctive exterior and interior design changes rather than substantial mechanical upgrades.

The exterior gets redesigned front and rear bumpers, black roof rails, mirror housings and badging, along with exclusive 19-inch black alloy wheels. Buyers will also be able to specify a contrasting black roof, an option unavailable on other Epiq models.

Other standard features include matrix LED headlights, redesigned rear lights and an illuminated front grille, which Skoda calls its ‘Tech-Deck’ face.

Inside, the ‘SportLine’ features electrically adjustable sports seats upholstered in a combination of microsuede and artificial leather, with white contrast stitching. The dashboard, door panels and armrests also receive dedicated black trim.

A heated three-spoke sports steering wheel comes with paddles for adjusting regenerative braking, allowing drivers to control how strongly the car slows down when lifting off the accelerator.

Equipment includes a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, five-inch digital instrument display, wireless smartphone connectivity, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging and ambient lighting.

The Epiq ‘SportLine’ uses the same 55kWh battery as the ‘Edition 55’. Its electric motor produces 211hp, giving it a 0-62mph acceleration time of 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 99mph. Skoda quotes a provisional driving range of around 270 miles, while a 10% to 80% rapid charge takes approximately 24 minutes.

The Epiq ‘SportLine’ will be available to order in the UK at a later date, with first deliveries expected during the first three months of 2027. Pricing for the trim will start at over £32k.
