Skoda has added a new ‘Black Edition‘ to the Karoq range, bringing additional equipment and black exterior detailing to the family SUV.
Introduced as Skoda celebrates production of the millionth Karoq, the ‘Black Edition’ sits above the existing SportLine Edition as the most highly equipped version of the current range.
Exterior changes include 19-inch black alloy wheels, black roof rails, door mirrors and grille, along with sports bumpers and a rear diffuser. Metallic paint is also standard, although buyers are limited to a selection of monochrome colours.
Inside, the ‘Black Edition’ comes with leather sports seats, a panoramic glass roof, heated front and rear seats and three-zone climate control. There’s also a heated sports steering wheel, black headlining, aluminium pedals and an upgraded Canton sound system.
Standard equipment includes Matrix LED headlights and a heated windscreen, while adaptive suspension and progressive steering are also fitted to every Black Edition.
Four engine and gearbox combinations
Three petrol configurations and one diesel are available. The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 150hp and can be paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or seven-speed automatic. Both are front-wheel drive.
A more powerful 190hp 2.0-litre petrol comes with the seven-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive as standard. The final option is a 150hp 2.0-litre diesel, again paired with an automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive.
Pricing and availability
The Skoda Karoq ‘Black Edition’ will be available to order from 1st October, with the first UK deliveries expected before the end of 2026.
Prices start at £39k for the 150hp 1.5-litre petrol with a manual gearbox, rising to £40,610 with the automatic. The 190hp petrol four-wheel-drive model costs £45k, while the 150hp diesel tops the range at £46k.
