As you’ll no doubt be aware, data protection laws across the EU are changing with the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on 25 May.
Along with everyone else who has a mailing list, we are updating our processes and policies in line with the new regulations. We have sent out an email to our mailing list today, but if you are not currently on our list and would like to get our weekly newsletter, you can easily do so.

What data do we hold?
The only personal data we hold on our mailing list are your email address and your name. We can also see how often you have opened our newsletters and clicked on any articles.
We do not share your details with any third parties, nor do we sell our mailing lists to anybody.
You do not have to provide your name and email address to visit our site (unless you are commenting on articles or in our forum), but we do use cookies and we do collect your IP address for analytics and spam prevention. For more information, have a read of our privacy policy.
The Van Expert and The Truck Expert
We have two sister sites, The Van Expert and The Truck Expert, which do not currently have any communications at present (other than a small section in The Car Expert weekly newsletter).
We will be building new databases for upcoming newsletters and communications for these two sites. Subscriptions from The Car Expert will not be carried over to either of these sister sites, so you will need to opt in separately if you are interested.
