Mini has introduced a new ‘Untamed Edition‘ version of its Countryman SUV, adding more rugged styling, optional all-terrain tyres and a handful of changes designed to improve its ability away from paved roads.
The new special edition is available with both petrol and electric powertrains, and includes several exterior and interior changes intended to give the Countryman a more adventurous character.
The most significant mechanical change is reserved for the electric Countryman ‘SE’, which gets a 15mm increase in ride height compared with the standard model.
Buyers choosing the petrol-powered ‘S’ or electric ‘SE’ can also specify specially developed Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tyres, while both models feature Mini’s ALL4 four-wheel-drive system.

New styling inside and out
The ‘Untamed Edition’ gets a redesigned front grille, revised side sills and additional protective trim around the lower bodywork. Matt-black protective film has also been added around the wheel arches, along the sills and on the bonnet to help protect against stone chips.
New 19-inch alloy wheels are exclusive to the edition, alongside two new paint colours – ‘Nomad Blue’ and ‘Hideaway Grey’. A matt ‘Frozen Nomad Blue’ finish will also become available to order from January 2027, marking the first factory-applied matt paint option offered by Mini.
Inside, the ‘Untamed Edition’ features sports seats with blue upholstery and contrasting stitching, along with darker dashboard trim and special edition logos. Rubber floor and boot mats are included, as is a redesigned central storage compartment with elastic retaining straps.
Mini is also offering a range of optional outdoor accessories, including a roof tent developed with Autohome and camping furniture produced in partnership with Helinox.
The Countryman Untamed Edition can be specified with a towbar, with a maximum towing capacity of up to 2,000kg depending on the powertrain. Its roof can support up to 75kg while driving or 300kg when stationary.
