About Bentley

Bentley is one of Britain’s best-known luxury car brands, but it plays a very different role from most manufacturers on this site. These are not everyday cars for most buyers. They sit in a rarefied part of the market where comfort, performance, design and personalisation matter just as much as practical considerations.

The range is small but carefully targeted. The Continental GT and Continental GTC are grand tourers, built for fast, comfortable long-distance driving. The Flying Spur gives Bentley a large luxury saloon, while the Bentayga is the SUV that has become central to the brand’s modern success. Bentley also offers more focused Speed versions and extensive Mulliner personalisation for buyers who want something more individual.

Bentley is also changing, although not in a way that makes the cars feel modest. Hybrid power now features strongly across the range, including the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga. For owners, that can make short local journeys quieter and more efficient, but these are still large, heavy luxury cars with running costs to match.

For UK buyers, the appeal of Bentley is easy to understand but harder to measure in purely rational terms. A Bentley is usually chosen for how it feels, what it says and how much care has gone into the cabin, rather than because it is the most sensible car for the money. Even so, ownership costs, reliability, emissions and resale values still matter, particularly if the car is being used regularly. This page brings together all of our Bentley coverage in one place, including Expert Ratings, reviews, news and feature articles, so you can compare the range and see where each model fits.
