About Jaguar
Jaguar is one of Britain’s best-known car brands, but it is currently in a strange place. For decades, Jaguar meant saloons, sports cars and later SUVs with a mix of comfort, performance and old-school British image. That version of the range has now been cleared out, and Jaguar is preparing to come back as a much more expensive electric luxury brand.
The old line-up included cars such as the XE, XF, F-Type, E-Pace, F-Pace and I-Pace. Those models are no longer on sale new in the UK, but they still matter for used-car buyers. Our existing Jaguar Expert Ratings and reviews are largely about that previous generation of cars, so they remain useful if you are looking at a used F-Pace, I-Pace, XF or other recent Jaguar model.
The new Jaguar is still taking shape. The company has shown the Type 00 concept and has confirmed that its next production model will be an electric four-door GT, but reviews and Expert Ratings for the new cars will not arrive until much closer to launch. Until then, most of the fresh information sits in our news coverage rather than in road tests or ratings.
For readers, this means the Jaguar page has two jobs. It is an archive for the models Jaguar used to sell, and it is also a place to follow the brand’s relaunch as more information becomes available. This page brings together all of our Jaguar coverage in one place, including Expert Ratings, reviews, news and feature articles, so you can understand the old range and keep track of what comes next.
