Summary
The Audi Q9 is a large upmarket six- or seven-seat SUV and the new flagship of Audi’s ICE-powered range. The SUV is now available to order, with the first customer deliveries scheduled for November.
This is Audi’s biggest SUV to date, exclusively powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine paired with 48V of mild-hybrid assistance, producing 299hp. Seven seats are fitted as standard, but buyers can also opt for a six-seat layout that replaces the second-row bench with two individual captain’s chairs.
Inside, the Q9 comes with several features new to the BMW range, namely power-operated doors which can open and close automatically using sensors to detect obstacles, and the largest panoramic sunroof ever fitted to an Audi.
